With 14 strong years of relationship based selling in the travel, logistics, and consulting industries, Stephen Scott’s toolbox of skills present a broad range of experiences to the cruise line industry. A consensus builder and facilitator of concepts would be two ways to describe how he brings people together towards a common goal. Stephen Scott continues to build his portfolio of success stories that demonstrate his passion for the tasks at hand.

Stephen joined the Royal Caribbean Cruise Ltd. team as the Consumer Outreach Quality Assurance and Training Supervisor in January 2011. He directly supervises 11 Training Specialists & Quality Control Specialists for all 3 brands. Through his short time here he has already received many awards including the most coveted of them all the 2011 Circle of Excellence Award.

Some of the skills that make him successful are his ability to speak well in public and his knowledge of Project & Resource Management. During his tenure here he has successfully redesigned and enhanced QA, developed The Royal Academy and has taken part in the Royal Caribbean 2012 website launch. Out of work you will find Stephen traveling with his family & dancing with his wife.

Brooklyn began her journey with Royal Caribbean as a CVP Outbound Agent in February 2010.  Because of her hard work and dedication she has received several awards and in April of 2011 Brooklyn was promoted to a Consumer Outreach Training Specialist.  You may know Brooklyn as the person that sends out the Consumer Outreach Promotions.  Her other responsibilities are to organize & facilitate training courses, communicate system updates and create & design training modules. Brooklyn has been very passionate about her role and has worked on numerous projects including but not limited to, Siebel Upgrade, Shore Excursion Package Promotion, Consumer Outreach Intranet Page, The Royal Academy and RCCL Fleet Revitalization. 

In her spare time Brooklyn enjoys playing tennis, working out, travelling, and reading.

 

Samantha Stanford

Samantha Stanford has worked for Royal Caribbean International for over a year and joined the Consumer Outreach training team in February 2012. She initially started in Trade Support & Service in December of 2012.  Samantha excelled in her position and quickly was asked to provide support as an SME for the New Hire classes. Professionally, her strongest skills are in secondary & primary research, brainstorming strategy & gathering insights to inform strategy, creating presentations (Keynote / Power Point / Prezi) and creating documents for Royal Caribbean for contribution to an agent’s success! She believes these qualities make a Training Specialist successful!

Prior to Royal Caribbean, Samantha’s attended school at Lane Community College on a scholarship towards Dental Hygienistry but found her passion was working for a company that creates dream vacations every day and is passionate about the success of their employees.

Samantha  spends her free time with her friends and family, seeking outdoor adventure (especially surfing, snowboarding and camping), online shopping, traveling (Royal Caribbean style), attending concerts, hot yoga, baking, and hanging out with her boyfriend, pug and lab.

 

Stacey Martin

Stacey comes from a background of many years in training and management in both sales and customer service that she believes contributes to her success with Royal Caribbean.  Stacey began her career with Royal Caribbean as an Inbound CVP Sales Agent in November 2009.  She was quickly promoted to the Trade Support & Service Groups department.   After a successful 6 months as a Shoreside Group Representative, Stacey was offered a position as a Training Specialist for TS&S.  A year later, she had the opportunity to return to Consumer Outreach as a Training Specialist.  One of Stacey’s main projects this year is to design and build The Royal Academy eLearning site that she is very passionate about. Stacey loves working for Royal Caribbean because she absolutely loves cruises and cruising!

When Stacey is not at work you can find her at the local Roller Derby track where she competes and skates for her team "The Church of Sk8in".  Volunteering is a pastime of Stacey’s.  She is actively involved with several programs including the Make-a-Wish foundation, which has helped her family in the past.  Recently Stacey was honored to be able to help two little girl’s dreams come true.  On Stacey's downtime when she isn't building websites or winning derby bouts, she is hanging out with her husband, two dogs and two cats. She is proud to announce that she will soon be welcoming a foster dog to her family!

 

Cindy Thies

Cindy Thies has a Masters degree in Social Work and certification in Human Resources.  In addition, Cindy's over 10 years of business management and counseling experience has  honed her skills and ability to engage diverse groups. In keeping with her passion to help others, she served as Royal Caribbean's ambassador to United Way of Lane County's annual fund raising campaign. After two years of providing award winning sales and customer service in Royal Caribbean's Consumer Outreach department, she earned her spot as their Training Specialist.
